  • No. Your car stays 100% in your name at all times unless we agree to a direct purchase. We act as your advocate and handle the process, not the asset.

  • Trading your car in is convenient — but convenience usually comes at a cost.

    Dealers need a margin to recondition, advertise, warranty, and resell their cars at a profit. That means trade-in offers are often $4000-$10,000 less than what the same car can achieve on the private market.

    Instead of handing your equity to a dealer, we help you:

  • Every car is different, but most vehicles should sell within 7-30 days when priced and presented correctly. Rare or enthusiast vehicles may take longer — we’ll be able to tell you upfront what to expect.

  • CarsReady operates on a results-driven process, but not every vehicle will sell due to factors outside our control — including market conditions, pricing expectations, vehicle condition, or buyer demand.

    A 50% upfront deposit is required before we begin. This deposit covers real costs already incurred, including vehicle preparation, detailing, photography, advertising, and marketing. These services are delivered regardless of the final sale outcome and are non-refundable.

    If the vehicle does not sell within the agreed campaign period, we will:

    • Provide clear feedback and market insights

    • Recommend pricing or strategy adjustments

    • Discuss alternative sale options where appropriate

    CarsReady does not guarantee a sale, but we do guarantee professional execution, honest advice, and best-practice strategy throughout the process.

  • Selling
    Our Seller Advocacy Package is $1500 which requires a 50% upfront payment and a 2% commission of the final sale price.

    Buying
    We don’t charge you to source a vehicle from a dealership — our fee is paid by the dealer. If you’re buying privately, we offer full sourcing and negotiation for a $550 flat fee.

    Training
    We offer motor vehicle sales training for individuals and businesses, with pricing based on class size.

  • CarsReady does not offer finance directly. However, we can refer you to trusted finance brokers we’ve worked with over the years who can assist with arranging finance if needed.

  • CarsReady does not offer or provide warranties. Sellers are required to disclose all known issues with their vehicle, and every car is reviewed by a qualified mechanic before we accept it as a client. We do not take on problem vehicles and only work with cars that meet our standards. Buyers are welcomed to organise their own mechanical inspections at the buyers expense.
